- You must be 18 or older if you're getting a WV resident or non-resident license and 21 or older if you're from VA.
- Leave with your state certificate, application, and everything you need to apply for your permit.

- Payment for class (if you didn't pay online already) and renewal fee to MD State Police ($75)
- Firearm & ammo supplied for you

- MD Resident: MD Wear & Carry renewal certificate, WV or FL Non-Resident live-fire certificate (if you don't have)
- WV Resident: MD Non-Resident renewal certificate, WV live-fire certificate (if you don't have)
- VA Resident: MD Non-Resident renewal certificate, VA certificate (if you don't have)
- Other State: MD Non-Resident renewal certificate, WV or FL Non-Resident live-fire certificate (if you don't have)
